Edwin Stevens is from Llanfairfechan. His first novel, Seagulls (Very Bon Books), was one of Dennis Cooper’s (author of Frisk, The Sluts, I Wished) favourite books of 2020. Blair James (author of Bernard & Pat, Corsair) described it as a “perfect flash of his gross, rotting, and beautiful head.” He makes music with the projects The Web of Lies, Yerba Mansa Trio and Irma Vep. In 2023, he released his first solo album- God On All Fours (Ankst)- as Edwin R Stevens. He currently lives in Glasgow.
